Travel in a 4×4 vehicle along the dirt track leading inland following the river Abade valley, passing through rural villages, whilst enjoying surrounding scenes of lush forests, sparkling rivers and picturesque waterfalls. We will drive through plantations of cocoa, bananas and pepper before reaching Roça Bombaim, an ancient Roça situated in the lush forest in the heart of the island of São Tomé. The building, currently used as tourist accommodation, is a typical example of old colonial architecture.
We will then continue to Roça Milagrosa and along the path to the highlands of Sao Tome where we will stop for lunch at the Casa Museo Almada Negreiros Restaurant, boasting stunning views over the plains of the city of Sao Tome and the luscious forest. The excursion will later take us to the S. Nicolau Waterfall and the Claudio Corallo coffee plantations in Nova Moca before heading back to your accommodation.
